April is the month of the Salone del Mobile, for years it’s been a reference point in the world for the home furnishings industry. It all began in 1961 to promote Italian exports of furniture and home furnishings, thus it has emerged as one of the world’s most important events for the Italian furniture industry.
Outside the Salone, in Milan and the surrounding areas, innovation is not at a standing still. The region is host to a major event known as, Fuorisalone, independent of the main event, which attracts major international companies, sponsors and visitors from all over the world, not to mention other interested parties.
The Fuorisalone is now a showcase for creative studies, design and architecture, both emerging and established companies to communicate ideas and showcase their projects.
All of us, at Berto Salotti, participating in Fuorisalone want to bring you into our showroom in Meda, located in the heart of the furniture district of Brianza, from the runway of the exhibition hall to the place of production; we want to show you the value and significance of the work of craftsmen.
