What if, the experience of Design-Apart becomes E-commerce? Just another step forward in the evolution of the project.

design-apart commercio elettronicoWe have spoken several times of the various aspects of the Design-Apart project; the network, custom manufacturing, and the challenges of the venture itself; however, we have yet to discuss the initiative of e-commerce launched just a few days ago.

The founder of Design –Apart, Diego Paccagnella has pointed out that E-commerce is a fundamental part of the experience:

–What if, we could connect effectively and efficiently a second visit to the New York loft with a virtual instant visit? (For those who have already seen the loft and then decide to buy an item.)

–What if, we could enhance the exceptional customization abilities of all manufacturers in the project?

–What if, we could open a channel linked directly to the Limited Editions presented by Design –Apart?

Making for instance, the very special high-value manufactured items, like the Hope Bird by Jaime Hayon, who only makes a few pieces available, more accessible?

Once again, we can see how the web moves on its own logic; E-commerce is the natural approach for this project.

Sometimes, if we think of the very first post of this blog, dated 2004, the idea of E-commerce came to us in an unconscious way, evolution.
